October, 2016. Uche, Our founder travelled to Lagos, Nigeria. After 14 hours in transit, He finally arrived at his destination at a dinner party in Lekki. As he entered the function, he was handed a cold shot glass of cloudy white liqueur. Palm Wine. After travelling, Jetlag and thirst delivered by the African sun. This was the perfect drink he never knew he needed.

February, 2020. Subsequent trips to Reims, Munich and Porto learning brewing techniques and the best ways to champion a Premium Traditional African Wine.

Our Process

The Traditional Method, involves Substituting the Grape variety for Palm tree variety. We use Raffia instead of Coconut or Date palm.

Primary fermentation of the Palm Juice to a 10% still wine.

Secondary fermentation in the bottle to a 12% sparkling wine.

Disgorge, Dosage, Cork and Cage to Finish and ready for delivery.
